  4. In Mail to keep offline enter: User defined (all by default)
  • In the LOG ON INFORMATION field also enter your Telstra email address and password.
  • 1Untick the box LOG ON USING SECURE PASSWORD AUTHENTICATION (SPA) box by clicking on the small box beside it to remove the tick inside it.
  • Select MORE SETTINGS option from the right bottom of the screen.
  1. Here go to the OUTGOING SERVER TAB by clicking on it from the top of the menu bar. Check mark the box beside MY OUTGOING SERVER SMTP REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION.
  2. Now select the USE SAME SETTINGS AS MY INCOMING MAIL SERVER.
Now head to the ADVANCED option from the top menu bar.
  1. Make following changes under the SERVER PORT NUMBERS:
  2. For the INCOMING SERVER (IMAP) enter in - 993.
  3. For USE THE FOLLOWING TYPE OF EXCRYPTED CONNECTION click on the drop down box beside it and choose the SSL from the drop box.
  4. For the OUTGOING SERVER (SMTP) enter in - 465.
  • Now for the USE THE FOLLOWING TYPE OF ENCRYPTED CONNECTION click on the down box beside it and select SSL.
  • Now click on the OK option from the bottom and then click on NEXT.
  • Now microsoft will test your email settings, once done click on CLOSE.
  • Select FINISH now, your Telstra email address will be added now.
